Dr. Maranda was born and raised here in the Bay Area. She completed her undergraduate studies at San Jose State University and obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Maranda completed her clinical training at San Jose Veteran Affairs, UC Berkeley Eye Clinic, Alameda Health System, UCSF Health, and Byers Eye Institute.

Personal Note:
My optometric journey started back in 2016 when I started out as an optician at Bella Eye Care Optometry. Fast-forward to today, I’m honored to able to provide comprehensive eye care to the community, help my patients with their vision and eye health, and continue to utilize my optician skills to help patients find a pair of glasses or contacts that they love! I especially enjoy working with the pediatric population and volunteering for school/day-care vision screenings.

In my free time I enjoy playing with my dogs, spending time with family, exploring new food spots, going to museums, hiking, and reading. I also enjoy going to live concerts and musicals!
